I often get asked if I have a favourite house that I have photographed, and typically I don't have an answer for that. The "bad" ones stick in my mind far more than the good ones, although memorable for the wrong reasons.
This one, however, is a stand out for all the right reasons. Renovated by talented "students" of the Three Birds Reno School, this beach-side property is the ultimate sanctuary, with raked ceiling and high end finishes that exude luxury and style.
Every detail has been thought out and chosen with care. Gorgeous rattan light pendants overhang the kitchen island and dining space, Havwoods herringbone floors add style and warmth to the expansive main living areas, skylights and large windows allow plenty of natural light in and plush wool carpeting through the bedroom areas give that feeling of cosiness (is cosiness even a word?!).
The main living space opens out onto the perfect outdoor entertaining space; covered deck, BBQ, bar fridge, landscaped pool area, pizza oven and cocktail corner. You can easily imagine yourself lounging in the sun or relaxing around the firepit with friends, enjoying home-cooked woodfired pizza with a drink in hand.
I could go on about the palm trees swaying in the breeze, the unique crazy-pave tiled splashback, or the mini putt-putt golf course tucked around the side.... or I could let this beautiful coastal property speak for itself in these images:
