The holiday rental market is booming and with so many properties for travellers to choose from it's essential to make sure yours stands out from the crowd. With some important preparation out of the way, a professional photographer can spend more time capturing images the images you need to showcase the personality of your property to your ideal guest.


Here's some tips for getting your space ready for photos.


1. Declutter and clean

Put away any unnecessary items scattered around the property: less clutter makes the space look bigger. In addition to decluttering, vacuum the floor, wash bedlinen, clean windows and wipe down surfaces to ensure your property is presented at its best.

Stage your property keeping in mind what guests will typically look for in your home based on its location and size. Select decor that fits in with this theme and pay attention to the details. Make the bed, fluff the pillows, and ensure couch cushions and throw blankets have been placed neatly. These small details can significantly elevate the pictures of your home.


3. Ensure unique features can be highlighted in photos
